Mag #54: It's gone forever

Image via Magpie Tales

It is ruined
and cracked
no man can save
as it is breathless.
No water
no air
to consume
its lost charm
for now it's gone forever
and it's time
for us to move
towards the same
for there's no one to be blamed
because.. It's Us!
It's human!
Who annihilated the land.

Lovely piece and so true, let's hope there is some land left unspoilt for our children.

yep- once it is gone it is hard if not impossible to put back together as we meddle with nature.

Epic is the word. This one so simply brings out the adverse effects of our own living that we bring upon ourselves.
Good one Pri :)

Scary thought, and something we all need to come to grips with. Nice take on the photo.

I totally share your sentiment, Priyanka..
We pretend like we don't know a thing.. but all the while, we are well aware of the root cause of this destruction! (sigh)

Very beautifully written...and so honest.. I really like that about your Magpie!
