Light (Haiku Heights #96)

lights bid adieu
no more the birds
willing to stay

long way to go
dear moonlight-
please lead me home

grandfather's torch
getting dimmer
it's light exhausted

it just took back me into those school days, used to wander in forest behind my grandfathers place.. in search of peacocks and rabbits :)
