The Silence

the walls are dumb and the bed asleep
mirror reflecting the hush, no cry
I quietly open the balcony door
letting the soft breeze enter the space
and fill the room's calmness with a try.
I seal the empty chair and look around void
the night bulb glowing with insects around
the fan moves with slow pace
without a break I keep watching them
as incessantly the stillness surround.
the floor uncleaned with speckles of dust
cockroach relaxing under the cupboard angle
outside the absence of moon
killing the stars anxious
within the silence and me entangled.

A lot of great imagery here and perfect setting of tone.

This is just too amazing. It is eerie in its own way. Great work!

The first line was original, hooking me right into the poem. Imaginative One Shot!!
