This is a nice little verse. It says so much, in so few words. Lots of places to go with this. 2 thumbs up!
This picture was taken off San Juan Island in Puget Sound on American soil, but the land across the sea is British Columbia. Your verse very much captured the magical and wistful beauty of that bit of rugged coastline.
Is she dreaming that the love of her life could be on that very ship? It's a possibility.
This chimes with me - I long to travel with the ships I see, but I suspect the imagining is better than the reality :-)
I'm ready to pack up and go too! :O)
